Προκήρυξη υποτροφιών από το ίδρυμα Λεβέντη για το Birmingham University.

Το ίδρυμα Λεβέντη προκηρύσσει τρεις υποτροφίες μεταπτυχιακών σπουδών στους τομείς της Νέας Ελληνικής γλώσσας, λογοτεχνίας, ιστορίας και πολιτισμού, για το Birmingham University. Λήξη υποβολής αιτήσεων: 4 Ιουνίου 2007.

Postgraduate Studentships in Modern Greek Studies 2007-8

Thanks to a generous grant from the A G Leventis Foundation, three postgraduate studentships are available for students who wish to pursue a full-time higher degree programme (MPhil, MPhil(b) or PhD) in the fields of Modern Greek (including Cypriot) literature, language, history and culture. Candidates should have a first class or upper second class degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. To apply for a PhD candidates should also have completed, or be completing, a master’s degree in a relevant subject. Applicants will be asked to provide a detailed research proposal, two references and a transcript of qualifications.

Prospective candidates may contact Professor Dimitris Tziovas (email ) for advice on research topics for which supervision is available. The MPhil(b) is a research degree with taught elements. The studentships will cover University fees only (at the rate applicable to UK and EU students) and may be renewed annually subject to a satisfactory progress report. Subsistence costs will not be covered.
